Welcome to Mam Tor House
Mam Tor House is an original Edwardian country home (built in 1903) situated in the main village next to the church and mid-way between Edale's two pubs The Rambler and the Old Nag's Head. Approximately 400 yards from Edale Railway Station and the same distance to the start of the Pennine Way.
Plenty of car parking space in the quiet gardens, home to a range of flowers and birds such as woodpeckers and nuthatches.
Surrounded by hills leading up to the Kinder Plateau, Mam Tor House provides panoramic views of the hills. It is ideally situated for walking and exploring the Derbyshire countryside. Should you fancy a trip into town, it is within easy reach of Buxton, Bakewell and Chapel-en-le-frith.
Free range eggs, home-made marmalades and jams as well as ample choice for an English cooked breakfast ensure a good start - and packed lunches are also available along with detailed maps and books of walks and drives.
